Twin Cities Marathon

Sunday October 5th I ran in the Twin Cities Marathon. I am proud to say that I finished the marathon in 5 hours 35 seconds. It was a cold rainy day which was probably better than hot, but I was cold. I had to make several stops at the port-a-potties which drastically hurt my time, but I finished and that was my goal and I am proud of myself. Jason followed me on the bike and froze along the way. Jason's parents cheered for me around mile 5 and my sister, mom, cousin and kids cheered for me at mile 24 and met up with me at the finish.

I never thought I would run a marathon in my life. I am happy that I did. Will I do it again??? Not sure, but probably. I think it's like giving birth it was bad but you forget the pain and are willing to do it all over again and it's worth every minute.
