This week I ran a race on Memorial Day and another one on Sunday. The first race was the 10 Kato, which was in Mankato. I ran my second 10K and finished in 58 minutes 52 seconds. This was a hard run since the last portion of the run was up Glenwood Ave, a slow gradual incline.
Today, June 1st, I ran the Downtown 5K and ran my fastest 5K to date! I finished with a time of 29 minutes 30 seconds. I cut almost 3 minutes off of my old best time! My goal was to run under 30 minutes.
Only 4 months till the Marathon, 6.2 miles was hard, 26 is going to be really hard!
