This Saturday I ran my first 10K (6.2 mile). The race was called the Veteran's Memorial 5/10K run, which was hosted right in Chaska. I finished a lot better than I thought I would with a time of 1:00.53 I was shocked by my time (I normally don't run 10 minute miles) as I was very tired and thought I was running very slow at some parts. Overall that day I ran about 9 miles as I decided to run to the race which I was thinking was a mistake at about 4 miles into the race. I think the 3 mile warm up maybe did help after all.

Congrats to you! That is a huge accomplishment and with everything else you have going on with a husband, kids, work and just having you time, I say it is an even bigger accomplishment!
